Instead, October 2025 is shaping up to be a month filled with exciting literary fiction, heartfelt rom-coms, immersive fantasy, and a few standout debuts that readers will be buzzing about well into the fall. Of course, there are still a handful of darker, atmospheric reads perfect for cozy nights in—but overall, this month offers a little bit of everything.
