I am super late with the June 2021 new book releases post! We ended up going on a very last minute beach trip over Memorial Day weekend, so I gave myself some grace with getting the post up before we left that Friday.
There are so many amazing new books releasing in June and most of them actually dropped on June 1! Here’s the list of June 2021 new book releases-I’m sure you missed a few since June 1 was such a big release date.
If you haven’t picked up any of these books yet, be sure to check which ones are available through Book of the Month, which is my favorite book subscription service.

Most Anticipated June 2021 New Book Releases
Survive the Night by Riley Sager
Release Date: June 29
I think everyone who follows me on social media will be happy when I finally have this book in my hands because I will not shut up about it! Riley Sager is my favorite author, so I tried without success to snag an ARC of his newest release, Survive the Night.
I prefer to go in to his books knowing as little as possible, so I really haven’t even read the full synopsis, which means I can’t give you a proper summary. All I can tell you is Survive the Night is set in the 90s and follows two college students on a road trip. One of the people in the car thinks the other might be the campus serial killer. That’s all I need to know!
Shutter by Melissa Larsen

A young woman accepts the offer of starring in a new movie. She will live on a private island off the coast of Maine for the duration of filming. But things are not as they seem as the woman soon discovers there is not an actual script for the movie, only that she will “live” the film.
Many thanks to Berkley for an advance copy of this title in exchange for my honest review.
