A new month is on the horizon, which means it’s time to start guessing what books Book of the Month will feature in April 2025! BOTM is known for picking standout new releases across multiple genres, from page-turning thrillers to compelling literary fiction. With so many exciting books set to hit shelves, which ones have the best chance of making the list?
By looking at upcoming releases, recent trends, and the types of books BOTM tends to choose, I’ve put together my top predictions for April’s picks. Whether you’re hoping for an edge-of-your-seat mystery, a buzzworthy debut, or an unforgettable contemporary novel, let’s dive into what could be in next month’s box!

If you aren’t familiar with Book of the Month, you can check out my full review of this subscription service. Each month, Book of the Month chooses 5-7 books from different genres and members can choose their pick when the books go live. You can also add on up to two more books for only $11.99 each. Best guess for one of the app hints. I’m still unsure on this one because it has a July release date according to Amazon, but the app hint says BOTM will be the only place you can get this book in the US or Canada next month. Very interesting choice if so.

I would have loved most of these predictions to be the selections! I’m a little letdown at first glance with the ones that have been confirmed/strongly hinted so far on the app since none of my most anticipated seem to be included. Hopefully some of them will be add-ons at least!
