Drum roll please…it’s time for the 2025 Reading Challenge! This is my fifth year hosting this year long reading challenge.
You will find that my reading challenge is fairly straight forward – read 52 books in one year, which means you are reading one book per week. While I do promote the idea of reading what you want, when you want, I also know sometimes you need a little push to read outside your comfort zone.
The purpose of the reading challenge is to help you make reading part of your daily routine. A book per week as completely doable if you replace some screen time with reading time instead!
To help you build a TBR (to be read), I have a list of 52 reading prompts for you to follow throughout the year. If you sign up for my weekly newsletter, you will get a set of free printables to help you track your progress. You get a checklist of all 52 reading challenge prompts with space to log the book title, a suggested monthly breakdown of the challenge, a 52 book printable to color as you finish books, and a blank calendar template for you to fill in however you want!
Each week I will send out a short newsletter that includes some book recommendations for each reading challenge prompt. The newsletter lists follow the order of the prompts, but you can complete the prompts in any order you want!
Meet Bookish Friends
In addition to the 52 book 2025 reading challenge, I will host a few extra reading challenges in the reading challenge group on Facebook. The challenges are exclusive to the group, so make sure you join!
To give you an idea of what to expect, at certain times of the year, I will host an extra challenge like a bingo board or TBR game to make the reading challenge even more fun and interactive.
Want to see the monthly breakdown? Join my newsletter and get access to the free checklist and monthly tracker printables!
You can also grab some amazing reading challenge stickers for your planner or reading journal from planitwithstickers.com! My friend Selina makes these for the reading challenge each year and I always love seeing what she does with the prompts.
