It’s that time again! The 2024 Reading Challenge is here and I’m so excited about the fourth year of hosting this reading challenge!

My reading challenge is pretty straight forward – read 52 books in one year, which is basically one book per week! While I do promote the idea of reading what you want, when you want, I also know that sometimes you need to read outside your comfort zone.

The purpose of the reading challenge is to help you make reading a priority-put down that phone and set a timer for 30 minutes every night. You’d be amazed how those 30 minutes add up!

To help you build a TBR (to be read list), I have a list of 52 reading prompts. If you sign up for my weekly newsletter, you will get a set of free printables to help you track your progress. You get a checklist of all 52 reading challenge prompts with space to log the book title, a suggested monthly breakdown of the challenge, and a blank calendar template for you to fill in however you want!

Each week I will send out a short newsletter that includes some book recommendations for each reading challenge prompt. The newsletter lists go in order of the prompts, but you can complete the prompts in any order you want!

Meet Bookish Friends

In addition to my 52 book 2024 reading challenge, I will host a few extra reading challenges in my book club. These challenges are exclusive to the book club, so make sure you join the Facebook group!

To give you some ideas of what to expect, at certain times of the year, I will give you an extra challenge like a bingo board or TBR game to make the reading challenge even more fun and interactive. Some challenges can only be completed in the book club because you will need the other members to help you!

Remember to share what your books for the reading challenge on Instagram and use #readwithallison2024 and tag me @readwithallison so I can see what amazing books you are reading each month!

And what’s a Five Star Prediction? You assume when you start it that you’ll love it so much it’ll be 5 stars for you?

A second chance author means you read a book by them before and maybe didn’t care for it, but you’re giving them a second chance.

Does The Carnivale of Curiosities by Amiee Gibbs fit any prompt in the 52 book club 2024 Reading challenge?

Hi! I am a newby and looking forward to the 2024 Reading Challenge 🙂 I registered my email address and received 3 challenge printables, but they were for the 2023 Challenge. Will the 2024 printables be emailed later? Or is there somewhere else I can find them (specifically the monthly boxes? I did find the printable list on your website, but I don’t see the monthly boxes anywhere). Thanks so much!

Hi thanks for commenting! I don’t know why you were sent the 2023 printables 😱 I thought everything was updated and nobody has said anything 😬😬 let me double check everything. Shoot me an email and I’ll get the correct stuff to you since there won’t be a newsletter this week. [email protected]
