Ready to read one book per week in 2022? Then join Read With Allison’s 2022 Reading Challenge!
Last year was the first year I hosted a yearlong reading challenge. I remember frantically sitting down on January 1 and creating a graphic with some reading challenges and promised to send out three new prompts each month for a total of 36 books in 2021.
I’m proud to say I never missed a month, but I knew I wanted to have all of my prompts ready to go at once for 2022. I also launched a book club on Facebook with the intention of moving the reading challenge to this platform because I wanted to know how many people are participating and completing the challenge!
This year’s reading challenge increased to 52 books-that’s just one book a week! While I prefer to promote the idea of reading what you want, when you want, I also like to push myself by setting a goal of a book a week. Sometimes that doesn’t happen, so I just make up for it later during a break or long weekend.
The purpose of the reading challenge is to help you make reading a priority-put down that phone and set a timer for 30 minutes every night. You’d be amazed how those 30 minutes add up!
How you complete the challenge is completely up to you. You can skip around the prompts or follow the monthly guide I created exclusively for my newsletter subscribers! Personally I plan to skip around the challenge because…..
Challenge With a Twist
My 52 book reading challenge will also have a bit of a twist! Each month, I will host an extra challenge in my book club. These challenges are exclusive to the book club, so make sure you join the Facebook group!
To give you some ideas of what to expect, each month I will give you an extra challenge like a TBR game to make the challenge even more fun and interactive. Some challenges can only be completed in the book club because you will need the other members to help you!
Remember to share what you’re reading on Instagram and use #readwithallison2022 and tag me @readwithallison so I can see what amazing books you are reading each month!
