One of my reading goals in 2022 is to tackle my backlist titles on my shelves. I have run out of space for new books and refuse to buy another bookshelf until we move.
Many of the books on this list have been on my shelves since 2018 when I joined bookstagram. Some of these are books I never see mentioned anywhere-I picked them up on a whim before I kept up with new releases. Some of the books are popular releases that I just never got around to because something “flashier” came out around the same time and distracted me.
I attempted this last year with 21 books to read in 2021 and only read about 10 books on that list. So some of these are carrying over from my 2021 TBR. Hopefully I can follow through on my goal this year.
22 Books to Read in 2022

Ohhh some good ones! Piranesi was one of my favourite books of last year and The One is one of my favourite thrillers!

I don’t know what I’m so nervous to read Piranesi! But everyone says they loved it.

Piranesi is still in my TBR stack….been meaning to pick it up forever. I added “The One” to my never ending TBR list, it sounds good!

Hi, new to your blog. And I truly find it inspirational and really good.
I’ve read a few on your list here, I really enjoy Samantha Downing’s novels and “For Your Own Good” did not disappoint.
“The Winter People” is also good, “The Last Flight” was a quick read of a page turner thriller. I also liked “The Nesting” , made me want to read more by C. J Cook. I found “The Lies We Told” OK, one of the quick reads that I’ll also quickly forget.
“Piranesi” is still in my TBR pile, a pile that strangely grows larger day by day…. And just I added “The One” and “The House Swap” from your list here….. never heard of neither thrillers/mysteries before.
Happy I came across your book blog, my husband doesn’t quite understand ; “never enough books!”.
We are almost ending 2022, but I printed out your “Read With Allison” sheets and I’m going to try the list challenge. 🙂

Thanks for your comment! I actually tried to start The Winter People this past summer and couldn’t get into it. I hope to get to The Nesting during October or November. My TBR also seems to grow by the day, so I feel like I’ll never make a dent in my pile! Luckily my husband understands lol
