I am so excited to finally announce my first round of bookish merch! To celebrate the official launch, I will be hosting a weekend readathon.
I have long considered myself a booktrovert, content to hide in my house every weekend and curl up with a book. My new merch was designed as a reflection of that trait.
To celebrate the launch of the Booktrovert merch, I decided to host a weekend long cozy readathon February 17-20. There are three prompts but you can also just read what you want! There will also be a buddy read.

What is a Readathon?
A readathon is a set time where readers challenge themselves to read as much as they can. Most readathons have a theme and book prompts to fit the theme.
For example, the Booktrovert Weekend Readathon is meant to be cozy, so the three prompts are:
- Read a cozy book
- Read your favorite genre
- Read a book from your shelves
So the first prompt fits the cozy theme of the readathon because you just pick a book that makes you feel cozy. The second prompt is also meant to fit the cozy theme because your favorite genre should bring comfort to you. And the third prompt means you don’t have to leave the house, increasing the coziness of the weekend!
Of course, you can always choose to just read whatever you want and still participate in the readathon! The point is to challenge yourself to read more than you normally would by being a “booktrovert” all weekend.
What is a Buddy Read?
A buddy read is a lot like a book club pick, except for a readathon. Generally there is a chat for the readers to discuss the book. Some buddy reads have a set schedule for different discussion points, but that is generally for longer books.
The buddy read for the Booktrovert Readathon is A Quiet Retreat by Kiersten Modglin. I have never read a book from this author, so this seemed like a good time to try one!

How do I order the merch?
The booktrovert merch is available on bonfire.com. Bonfire will fulfill the orders and ship them directly to you at the end of the campaign.
The current campaign is set to end January 29. Orders will begin shipping February 6 and should arrive before the readathon. I ordered several samples and received them in less than a week!
