Trying to guess the Book of the Month picks gets even more fun this time of year. May kicks off summer reading season, and the lineup usually includes a mix of buzzy new releases, page turning reads, and book club favorites.
In this post, I am sharing my Book of the Month predictions for May 2026, including the titles that feel like strong contenders based on release timing, early buzz, and past selections. If you like guessing ahead of the reveal or planning your TBR early, these are the books worth watching.

If you aren’t familiar with Book of the Month, you can check out my full review of this subscription service.
