New Book Releases November 2020

I don’t know about you, but November is always the kick off for the holiday season for me. My Christmas decorations go up in early November, and I start Christmas shopping.

November is so busy, and I am sure it is busy for you too. So busy, in fact, that you don’t have time to look for your next read. But that’s okay because I have 15 of the most anticipated new book releases for November 2020.

November 2020 New Book Releases

Admittedly, most of these books were not on my radar prior to writing this post. The new book releases for November 2020 are mostly literary fiction, nonfiction/memoir, and fantasy books, and I primarily read mystery/thriller books. But I did come across some books that sound interesting to me.

Most Anticipated New Book Releases of November 2020

secret santa andrew shaffer horror book

Secret Santa by Andrew Shaffer

Release Date: November 10, 2020

I know, I know. “Allison, you just spent the entire month of October reading horror books.” I can’t pass Secret Santa up though because the blurb calls it The Office meets Stephen King. Lussi gets a new job with a publishing company and soon falls victim to office pranks, including a creepy figurine she receives as a Secret Santa gift. Soon the office workers are falling victim to violent events, and Lussi begins to wonder if her Secret Santa gift is the cause.

girls of brackenhill kate moretti

Girls of Brackenhill by Kate Moretti

Release Date: November 1, 2020

Girls of Brackenhill was on my radar when it was an Amazon First Read pick in October. The Amazon First Read program helps me find so many new release books that I might not have known about otherwise. If you are an Amazon Prime member, you can choose one (sometimes two!) early release ebook each month through the First Reads program. If you aren’t an Amazon Prime member, you can sign up to try out 30 days for free!

Girls of Brackenhill has two of my favorite tropes-gothic mansion setting and family secrets. Hannah returns to her family’s castle after her aunt is killed in a car accident. She has not been back to the castle since her sister died seventeen years ago. Hannah is determined to find out what happened all those year ago, even if she doesn’t like what she finds.
